GIANT Update!

So it's been a few months since my last post. I DO NOT claim to be good at keeping up with this thing. I've had some okay things to blog about but haven't been super motivated to do so. I don't want to bore everyone that reads my blog so why not just leave it all out. Besides, I've only had one thing on my mind for the past few months. It's all I wanted to blog about and it's all I could think to really blog about. Chandler and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby GIRL at the first of November. After trying for over a year, we are finally adding to our little family, and we couldn't be more excited about it. I am only 17 weeks along, but it's all becoming a little more real every day. Chandler finally gave in and decided to let us go find out the gender a few weeks early because I don't like to wait for anything. Now that I know the gender, it's going to be hard to wait for her to come. We'll have my regular ultrasound in about a month just to double check to make sure we're buying all the right colors. I can't wait to see her again!!

Sorry Grandpa Jerre. You're going to have to wait for your little linebacker.

Fun Weekend!!!

We had such a great weekend. Lots of relaxing, talking, and of course laughing. Friday night Nin and James came up to Coalville to spend the weekend with us. Of course Brookie was in tow too. We'll just do a quick recap of the weekend.


I got asked to do this cute girl's hair for prom. I knew her a little bit before doing her hair, but after spending another hour or two with her, I'd say I know her a little bit better.

The guys got a lot of Call of Duty MW3 in this weekend as well. I watched here and there. I can't handle too much of that game. All in all it was a great weekend. I'm excited already for the next one.

Get Busy

This week has kicked off a busy time of year for Chandler. It's breeding season. He is at the shed from sun up to sun down making sure we continue to expand in numbers. Along with that, our first big sale is at the end of this month. We may actually see some money from this...haha. Prices have been up this year so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for similar things to happen in a few weeks.

On another note, I started learning a new skill last week. For enrichment night, we learned how to crochet (spelling?...and to think I was a spelling bee geek back in the day). I am now the proud maker of a wash cloth. I know it's not much to brag about, but I had to start somewhere. I had to give a lesson in Young Women's last week and the topic was homemaking. Over and over I read talks and articles about homemaking being a lost skill. More and more women would rather have a career than be a homemaker these days. There are so many things that I have to do to improve my role as a homemaker. I feel like going to that class was a good step in the right direction. I've worked on sewing as well. I made my cousin a really cute blanket for her baby that will be coming soon. Being the good photographer I am, I don't have any pictures or proof of my cute work. Maybe I'll bug her for a picture of it to show how cute it is.

Here's to another weekend. I get to have Saturday off from the salon. I still have to do some hair for prom though. I'm a little nervous about it because this girl's hair is down to her waist. Hopefully I remember to take pictures to document my day off's work. Yesterday was my first day off where I didn't do any hair in a long time. It's okay though. HAPPY WEEKEND

Cheers to the Freakin' Weekend. SO SO SO glad the weekend is finally here. I've worked hard this week. I still have half of a day of work then it's off to Cokeville, Wyoming for a baby shower, missionary farewell, and lots of family. I can't wait!! Tonight Chandler is off with his buddies for a "bachelor party". For me, it's laundry and my favorite...NEWSIES!!!

A DJ and a Discoball

Lately I have been turning my car into a dance club wherever I go. I dance on my way to work. I dance on my way to Salt Lake. I dance when I'm in my car period. At my dance club, I invite the 3 men seen below to be my entertainment/music. I have been on a major Tech N9ne kick lately. His music can pull me up out of any funk I'm in and get me moving. I try not to listen to the message that he is trying to send me. I just really love the flow and musicality of his stuff. These 3 are my favorite to work out to as well. Maybe I should listen to them more so I will get off my lazy behind and get to working out. Now. go put some of their old stuff in and dance your heart out.
